Stack My Savings Calculator
See what you pay at checkout and what the deal really costs after coupons, promo codes, Subscribe & Save, cashback, rebates, tax and shipping.
Start with the price
Enter the normal price before coupons or promotions.
Add checkout discounts
These normally reduce the amount before you pay. Leave anything you do not have blank.
+ Add tax, shipping, cashback, rebates & credits
Tax is estimated on the merchandise subtotal after checkout discounts but before store credit, cashback or rebates. Actual tax treatment varies by location, retailer and promotion.
How your savings stack
Which deal is actually cheaper?
Compare two stores or two offers after sale discounts, coupons, cashback, shipping and tax.
Stack discounts, coupons and cashback without guessing
A sale price can look better than it really is when several offers are involved. This calculator applies percentage discounts one after another, subtracts dollar-off coupons, estimates checkout tax and shipping, then keeps cashback and rebates separate so you can see both the amount you pay now and the effective cost after rewards arrive.
Stacked discount calculator
Two percentage discounts are not simply added together. For example, 20% off followed by another 10% off produces a 28% combined discount because the second discount applies to the already-reduced price.
Coupon + promo code calculator
Add percentage-off or dollar-off coupon codes and see the running subtotal after each step. This is useful when a retailer allows more than one eligible promotion.
Cashback & rebate calculator
Cashback and rebates are shown separately from checkout savings. That makes it easier to understand what leaves your wallet today versus what the purchase may effectively cost later.
Compare two online deals
Compare two retailers using price, sale percentage, coupon, cashback, shipping and estimated tax. The winner is based on effective final cost, not the biggest advertised discount.
Frequently asked questions
How do I calculate stacked discounts?
Apply each percentage discount to the price left after the previous discount. A 20% discount followed by 10% off is an effective 28% discount, not 30%.
Does cashback lower the checkout price?
Usually no. Cashback is generally earned after the purchase, so this tool shows checkout cost and expected cashback separately. Always follow the terms of the specific cashback program.
Can I add a coupon and a promo code?
Yes. Use the coupon/promo field and the extra promo field. Whether a retailer actually allows both offers to stack depends on that retailer's terms.
How does the calculator handle tax?
The optional tax estimate is applied to merchandise after checkout discounts and before store credit, cashback or rebates. Actual taxable amounts vary by state, retailer, item and promotion, so use the number as an estimate.
Is store credit counted as savings?
No. Store credit or a gift card you already own reduces the amount charged today, but it is not automatically new savings. The calculator therefore keeps it separate from discounts.
